Celebrating The New Year

As you can see, the Dunn Family partied hard on New Years Eve. Justin and Cari went to dinner with the adult Smith clan, then drove Saydi and friends to a dance/party. There was a mechanical bull at the party and I couldn't pass that up! One thing I can mark off my "to-do list" for my lifetime. While Saydi was dancing the night away, we took the boys to another party where we all ate, played Guitar Hero and hung out. The boys were getting pretty serious about the guitar game! Shockey the cat, even got in on the festivities. She didn't get too upset when Saydi put a party hat on her. What a good kitty!!!

Bishop Landon

So on my birthday when the ward was considerate enough to cancel church for me, we had our own little Sacrament Meeting at home. Landon wanted to be the "Bishop". He got dressed up in his suit and tie, stood on a stool and put a fold-up table in front of him for the podium. He conducted the meeting, Cutler gave the talk, Saydi was the pianist while I lead the music and Justin administered the Sacrament (we honestly didn't know you have to get special permission to do that at home!) It was a great meeting.

I'm not getting any younger!

So February 3rd was my 36th (!!!) birthday. It was such a blizzard that even church was cancelled! It was a great day, though. I got a massage from Justin, one from Landon, a foot rub from Landon, breakfast in bed from Cutler and Landon, a yummy dinner at Mom and Dad's AND a break from my busy calling at church. Who could ask for more?

This picture is while Justin and I were in a Cadillac Escalade Limo for my friend's birthday. Fun, fun!

Family Christmas Picture

So I've been a little lazy with this blogging thing. I'm not as "into it" as some of my siblings. I thought I'd better at least get something more current than Halloween pics, so here is our latest....family Christmas picture. Obviously Justin and Saydi are standing on a step because neither of them are really that tall - don't tell Justin I said that because he swears he's 2 inches taller than me. All I know is that when I'm wearing my 2 inch heels I'm taller than he is (go figure!)
